Kathleen's Introductory Post

Hi, my name is Kathleen Luft and I volunteered to set up the initial blog-not because I have blogger experience but because I maintain a webpage for the school library that I work at and I was willing to give the blog set-up a go.  At first I had to continually refer to to the blog tutorials then go back to the blog and try out what I just watched.  After awhile I started having fun with it and started clicking just to see what all the options were; I experimented with the template theme and then customized it by changing the background colors, along with the font for the blog title and adding an image.  The image I had selected was of an old-school projector and since our theme was presentation tools the contrast between the old technology and new technology appealed to me as a welcoming image to the blog.
